Getting Started

Navigating the workspace

Every screen in ThreatWeaver sits inside the same frame: a left navigation for moving between areas (and search), a top bar for alerts and your account, and the main area where your current screen appears. Once you know these three pieces, you can find your way anywhere.

The left navigation

The left navigation lists everything you have access to, grouped into sections such as Security Modules and Intelligence, with Admin and Settings at the bottom.

  • Modules (for example Exposure Management and AppSec) expand to reveal their pages. Click a module name to open it and expand its list; click again to collapse it.
  • Grouped headings inside a module — such as Vulnerability Management, Attack Surface, and Threat Intelligence — are labels that organize the pages beneath them. They aren't links themselves.
  • The active page is highlighted so you always know where you are.
  • A lock icon next to an area means it isn't part of your plan. Ask your administrator if you need access.
  • The AI Assistant appears as its own item near the top when it's enabled for your workspace.
  • Administrators may see a small off badge on modules that are turned off.

You only see the areas your plan includes and your role allows, so your navigation may be shorter than what's described across these guides.

Collapsing the navigation

Use the menu button at the far left of the top bar to collapse the navigation to a narrow strip of icons — handy when you want more room for a wide table or chart. Click it again to expand the labels. On a small screen, the same button opens the navigation as a slide-in panel.

The top bar

The top bar stays with you on every screen.

Search — jump straight to a task

Open search from the top of the left navigation (or press Ctrl + K, or ⌘ K on a Mac). Start typing the name of a page, control, or task and pick a result to jump straight there — often faster than clicking through the navigation.

Switching between modules

Each module is a self-contained area with its own set of pages. To switch modules, open a different one from the left navigation — for example move from Exposure Management to AppSec. The module expands to show its pages, and the main area updates to that module's home screen.

Your account menu

Click your initial in the top-right corner to open your account menu. It shows your name, email, and your role, and offers:

  • Profile & Settings — open your personal settings, where you can update your profile, preferences, security options, and notification choices.
  • Appearance toggle — switch between light and dark. Your choice is remembered on this device.
  • Sign Out — end your session and return to the sign-in screen.
